The City Clerk is the Elections Officer for all city elections and works closely with the Duval County Supervisor of Elections to coordinate the election of City Council members.
Elections take place on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November of all even-numbered years.
The term of office begins on the first Tuesday in December and is a four-year term.
Voting Information
The City encourages all of our residents to vote at their designated precinct:
Precinct 1305 — Beaches Branch Library, 600 Third Street: Registered voters residing on the Northside of Florida Boulevard from the Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Precinct 1309 — Christ United Methodist Church, 400 Penman Road: Registered voters residing on the Southside of Florida Boulevard to Seagate Avenue from the Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway.
