Beaches Closed Effective Friday, March 20, at 5:00 p.m.

Effective 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 20th, the City of Jacksonville, with the support of Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Neptune Beach, is ordering the closure of all beaches in Duval County to the public.
Beach closures are for everyone: general public, tourists, and residents of all beach communities.
Beach closures are 24/7 until further notice.
At 5:00 p.m., March 20th, patrols of beaches will begin by local authorities to ensure compliance with the closure order. Those patrols will occur daily to ensure compliance with this order.
