Public Notices

In Florida, there is law known as the “Sunshine Law”, which requires government meetings to be properly noticed to the public. We post notices for all Council and Board meetings on our website and on the bulletin boards in City Hall.

Regular Council meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. Workshop meetings are held on the third Monday of each month. If either of those Mondays fall on a holiday, the meeting will be held the following Tuesday.  All meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Special meetings are called as needed

We encourage all citizens to attend these meetings and see your local government at work. Public comments are always welcome at all council and board meetings.
