Chief’s Walks

Chief’s Walks are all about community engagement and strengthening our bond to the community we serve.

Chief’s Walks give us an opportunity to meet residents at their front door and speak one-on-one to learn about the issues they may be experiencing in their neighborhoods. It’s also an opportunity for us to share crime prevention tips and the services we offer. These walks began in 2016 under then Police Chief Richard J. Pike and since we have walked numerous neighborhoods and met with dozens of citizens with great success. In our continued effort to be as transparent, forward-thinking, and community focused as possible, Police Chief Michael J. Key Jr. has continued this tradition.
